The 5 Word Memoir Project is the brainchild of the ever-creative and insightful Holly G, who writes about the project:
“In a world where the speed of communication is ever-accelerating, economy of language is increasingly important. The 6-word memoir, a genre inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s legendary 6-word story, serves as an exercise in concise writing. The challenge of the 6-word memoir is to encompass or express an entire life experience in only 6 words. But I believe 6 words is too easy. Thus, I propose the 5-word memoir project, to which this blog will be dedicated.”
